Hi Guys,

I just learned about chamber inserts for the 9.3x74r that fit in the chamber and then allow you to shoot .22 caliber round in it. I was just wondering if anything like this would hurt the inside of a barrel. Having a very nice double rifle sort of makes you think before puting anything foreign in the chamber and shooting it. Does anyone out there have any knowledge of these items? and if you do are they safe to use in a Krieghoff or other double? Would you trust one of these in your gun not to mess it up or affect the accuracy?
