Had an interesting conversation with hunting buddies,NONE who own Doubles. Of course many own O/U and SxS shotguns.Among other things we reviewed the basics and possible advantages of Doubles.I discussed my meager knowledge of Brand/caliber and approximate cost.They wanted to know the best most accurate cost effective Double for the money and what caliber to consider.

So good gentlemen, what would you suggest as a BEST BUY for a gunowners first Double? Why is it better than others? How much would it cost? What brand/caliber? How should it be accessorized?
