I've got one. I like it, it fis me well, it balances / hangs well in the hand, it points, it is extremely accurate and overall I like it. However, it is NOT a English gun like the old pre WW11 guns - ie it doesn't have the finish of an old English gun. I believe they were commissioned by Champlins, made in Europe put together in England, hence the English proof marks. To me, it is a good working gun. As to a "good buy", I'll leave it to someone in the US to pass judgement on that. Looks OK to me but I am not up to speed with the prices at present. |
