I know several who have taken doubles over .. I know of several PH's who use doubles , but I think the overwhelming majority are bolt guns both PH and client .. I would say that the PH would be better equipped with a double than a bolt if after DG ..

A double is my first choice , but my eyes prefer a scope .. But I justify that by saying that DG hunting is up close and personal , dont need a scope ..
