The .458 Lott I have will do everything the .470 will and then some so I don't think I really ned to go larger. As I said I was looking for something in the upper middle range of calibers. Besides I've always liked having something a bit different.

No need for a big bore with that list. Add elephant and go with the 470, ammo isn't that tough to find, imo. Or keep the list and think about the 450/400. Ammo will eventually be easy to find.
