...i should think that if you spent some time with break-open doubles you would quickly come to the conclusion that the essential design remains superior - even after 100+ years - to other competing actions insofar as doubles are concerned (in terms of barrel regulation, transportation, cleaning, storage, reloading, maintenance, etc.)... ...tho a falling block makes for a superior single shot, and remains so even after 100+ years... ...just my humble opinion... te |
