I have two Merkel double rifles, and the 470NE has a Kick-EZE on it, while the 9.3X74R has a pachmeyr decellarator. The decelarator comes in the treditional red rubber, and like others here I think it is a much better recoil pad that the classic "SILVERS", and I like it better than the Kick-EZE as well. The Kick-eze works fine, but has a habit of coming apart quite easily! Merkel doubles are off the shelf rifles, and it is fitted for a temparary butt plate so the length of pull can be adjusted to the owner when a recoil pad is installed.
