That was the lead I needed. Old English has been supplanted by S.W. Silver & Co. who apparently were OEM for H&H and many other pre-War DR manufacturers. They have several recoil pads in both red and 'English Orange'. And the good news is that I promptly found several US suppliers of Silver's products.
