I am the new kid on the block yet-I think this only post number 3. Anyway, I just picked up a new Kodiak IV in 45-70 two days ago.Been looking at them quite a while (a few years) & finally made the leap!It has not been to the range yet to find out what it is made of.I don't have any idea what to expect-am waiting on a reply from the factory on the regulating they used in it.Slugged it last night & found both barrels measure .456 x .451 with a .105 throat length.I am going to have to get a sizing die for it-don't have anything small enough & will probably design a mold for it as well.
I reckon that it will be a while before I find out what it will do--stay tuned,I will post about it when I find out.
