Keep it lubed properly at the hinge and other wear
points, shoot low pressure loads regulated for the
rifle and clean it from the breech with brass or nylon.
The gun will outlast you. some of my doubles have had
several thousand rounds put through them while I owned
them and they were well used when I got them.
