Supposedly wounds the animal off camera. Don't think anyone can prove that.

What he's most scorned for is not finishing the wounded animal off but walking up to it close AND doing so with the client (2 big no-no's for PH's, they could lose their license in some countries). Some prefer to let animal "stiffen up" and then go get them. That seems worse to me. MS follows up the buff relatively soon, most still seem to have plenty in them. All this talk of honor and dignity but few address that popping a mostly submerged hippo in water isn't very sporting.
