I decided on the Chapuis in 9.3x74R. I live in Alaska and it would make a pretty good bear and moose rifle. I have shot quite a few moose in my life and all were less than 40 yards away so iron sights are adequate. But I did order the rifle with the pivot scope mount and may add a 1.5 x 5 Leupold. If I buy another one it will be in 30-06.
I love the compactness of the double.
