he gave to me, so I am choosing to be a bit vague about the exact figure.

I ask YOU, what if he said 20K or 18K or 14K or what ever?

Rest assured it's enough of a difference to make me not even think about this used one.

For those that want a rifle in 577 NE or 600 NE my advise is to call

Mr. Owen and get a full understanding of what he charges and what you'll get.

This way a comparison can be made between Searcy, Heym, Owen, etc.

His rifles are heavy for caliber in calibers UNDER 577 NE.

This because he ONLY builds actions in CORRECT sizes for 577NE, 600NE and 4 Bore.

If you want a 500NE or smaller caliber double, you're getting it on a 577NE sized action.

I asked if he was thinking of making smaller actions and he said with certainty that he had no such plans.
