Just my opinion, but I believe if you add a scope on after the fact you're going to have a crap shoot if the rifle will regulate the same with the scope if it was regulated without the scope. Nice wood, PG cap, checkpiece, etc are all cosmetic, I'd take a good scope mount over all of those. I think a scope really make the 9.3x74r a much more useful rifle. I love mine! ![]() For gunfitting, though its a bit out of your way, I'd recomend Bryan Bilinski at Field Sport up at Traverse City Michigan. I was going to a conference a few years back in Chicago and I had planned to catch a plane and do a fitting with him up there on a day trip. Turns out I did it with Bryan at a SxS shoot closer to home, but it can be done from Chicago. I'd also recomend Chris Batha and Keith Lupton, though they are far from your listed locations... |
