Ignorant question--- How does Chapuis of other DR makers design the stock for a Double that may also be scoped? Do they use a lower comb height for best open sighted fit or do they compromise on this so that no marked head bobbing is needed to find the best scope picture. It would seem relativelty hard to design a decent stock fit when the open sight plane is ~1.5 inches below the sight plane of a scope. Am I off base or cofused? Thanks to forum members for any input here. |
