Roscoe, I'm returning to work on December 1st. My disability insurance, albeit great, has just dropped to 60%. I can live on that for a couple of pay checks, but I'm really ready to get back to work. I expect to get the go ahead from my doctor next week, but I'm no way close to being healed. My broken humurus healed without surgery and the radial nerve seems to be getting better, but it's my right hand that is really screwed up. I'll start the painfull physical therapy soon. I really don't care about the pain as long as I regain full use of my hand. I'm sure Erik thinks the same about his ankle. My family and friends have been sooo wonderful to me. It is true, women want to nurse men when they are injured ![]() The skinny on the wreak is one of those "why me" moments? A 59 year old homeless man decided to cross the interstate on foot! I plowed into him at over 65 MPH, killing him and nearly me. However, I can still wake up to blue skys and my beautilfull eight year old daughter who I can hold in my arms and kiss. I got nothing to complain about in the scheme of things. Thanks for keeping me on the sick list; Blair |
