Imported an 8 bore double maybe thirty years ago, good maker, forget which, hammer rifle steel barrels underlever. Took it up to the Lyman range in Middlefield CT which is covered. Was intelligent enough to shoot it offhand, not from the bench. Well, all the dirt, dust and old junk that had collected under the roof came down, from the muzzle blast, I had no idea what had happened but felt like it was a major trauma. My shooting buddy said I looked like I had come out of a coal mine. He declined to try it out. I shot it a couple times more, put it in Shotgun News and got rid of it. Too much gun for me.
