Ok, I just realized I haven't followed this thread closely enough. I now assume DoubleTrouble is referring to the Swivel Breech rifle in the link posted by JohnTheGreek (which I just looked at). I agree it is a fine looking rifle and a traditional design. Also, it unquestionably is made in the USA. My comments above were directed at the O/U rifle first pictured above, which is non-traditional and probably made somewhere other than the USA. That swivel breech rifle looks really nice. Mehul, if you are in the market for a double ML you ought to contact Chasseur. I can personally vouch for his Pedersoli. It's not as nice as this swivel breech, but it's not nearly the cost either. Also, I agree we can hunt with any of these in the general rifle season. My rant above has to do with the early ML season, and the late ML season too, for that matter. During the REAL rifle season I plan to hunt with a breech loading DR! Cheers, guys, Curl |
