My Westley was a boxlock. The Holland is nice but I really don't think that they are that great. I am of the opinion that Holland and Holland are " Legends in their own minds "! The French are trying hard to sell H&H and it will be interesting to see if any takers step up to make the purchase.

The Southgate locks that are used by H&H in both the Dominion and Royal grades should be " tuned up " once a year. It is nothing that is too terribly expensive to have done and it keeps everything nice and crisp.

I enjoy loading the old Kynoch brass and the Berdan primers are no trouble at all.

The new brass is made by Wolfgang Romey I have been told. It is very good stuff.
