One has to wonder if he didn't run afoul of the law out of simple ignorance. He isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. The last time I looked at his site, he had a no-name Belgian guild rifle for sale. Belgian rifles are proved for either lead or jacketed bullets, and thus are marked "B. Plomb" for Balle Plomb, which means "lead bullet", or "B. Blindee" for Balle Blindee, which means "plated (jacketed) bullet". This rifle was proved for jacketed bullets. Although it's been awhile, I remember that his ad said something like "made by the celebrated master gunmaker B. Blindee". What a scream. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
