If you can handle a 375 you can handle a 450/400 no problem.
In fact I would rather shoot my 450/400 double than my 375 H&H.
The 470 is a step up in recoil IMHO.
If the double fits you the recoil is not painful.
I have never noticed the recoil or the noise when shooting my 450 No2 at game.
