DB: Yeah that calibre range is real nice. I find your comments interesting on sideplates reinforcing an action (somewhat like those Selous plates then?). I had always heard that in many cases they weaken the stock by removing wood. But does that depend on how they made?

Tinker thats a real nice looking rifle there!! Wow!! That gets my vote. Agreed on the no scopes on hammer guns. As much as I like shooting with a scope, they just look WRONG on a hammer gun...
