I use Hawk .035" 270 gr. flat points in my .40-82WCF with contemporary high velocity loadings. They are tremendously accuracte in my original Marlin 1895 rifle. They work great on Whitetails and generally penetrate to just under the skin on the far side of the animal (shoulder shots). I like 'em.
