In reply to: If done properly, the rifle must go to the factory anyway, for propper fitting of the new barrel set! Rather than a set of double shot barrels, the best choice is a set of cape gun barrels. With a shotgun barrel on the left, and a rifle barrel on the right, with the rifle barrel being chambered for the same cartridge as the double rifle barrels. Example: double rifle chambered for 9.3X74R, with a set of barrels chambered for 20ga/9.3X74R, when hunting birds, one still has the rifle barrel if a world class KUDU shows up, and with a claw mount scope handy, clipped on, gives you a 300 yd single shot for that KUDU! ![]() |
