I shoot my 700 Searcy, and it doesn't hurt me. I will agree that it is not the most practical gun in the world. But I always wanted one, just to have and shoot. At 16.8 lbs, it is only 3 lbs. heavier than a 577, I guess that would add up in a hurry if I were to haul it around all day. Alot of us buy guns that are not real practical. Thats how alot of pet projects get their start. I think that most of us will agree that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
