Given that the 700 NE caliber is the product of a rich guy who, in the 1980's really wanted a 600 NE built by H&H but was told NO, (as they had a contract with an earlier customer that he would have the FINAL 600 NE from H&H) this caliber lacks history as none of our icons used it.

I have never heard a claim that it does something the 600 NE can't.

If you want it because it's the biggest NE, then you'll need to sell when the 800, 900, 1000 NE's are built.

I personally fall for the 600, as it was made from the start as a smokeless cartridge, (unlike the 577, not to suggest the 577 is anything other than GREAT) it has wonderful history and character.
