I have read quite a bit about boxlock vs sidelock and there are often strong devotees in both corners.Is there really any major advantage/disadvantage with either?
Most English DRs in the stratospheric price brackets appear to be sibelocks giving the impression the are more prestigous.Obviously there is more room for engraving and therefore greater visual appeal.
One source I read said that the cost difference of producing either was negligible(sidelocks are always more expensive)is this true?
