Regarding the coil or vee springs, and also the bushed strikers, my question was just for interest sake.
It wouldn't really worry me whether a double was fitted with either type of spring or if it had or didn't have bushed strikers.
If I had a choice though I would select to have the strikers bushed and to have vee rather than coil springs.

Rebounding locks, intercepting sears, and stockbolt, all make for a better gun IMO if the double is going to be used a lot.
I'll cover the reasons at some point when I have a little more time back at the computer.
