I own several Valmets with most of the double rifle/shotgun barrel combinations. Simply put it is probably the most under rated double for the money. I have owned the rifle for twenty years, and I could have saved thousands if I totally used the Valmet to its potential. The best feature I like about the Valmet is the scope mounting system. You can take off the scope, remount it, and the scope is dead on!

As a shotgun the Valmets are great! I purchased the trap stocks, and use it as a trap gun. I also have an engraved 20 gauge, which is beatiful to look at as well as shoot.
