Ok, I'm starting to get pieces together for multiple builds. I've decided that one of the guns I build is going to be a 500 NE. However I really don't need the full powered 500, so have been thinking of the Light Nitro/Nitro for Black load for regulation. However I'd like the versatility of using a heavier bullet. So my question is this. Assuming the action is strong enough. Do you think it would be easier to build a 500 NE for the full Nitro load and develop a load using the 440 gr bullet or would it be easier to build for the 440 gr bullet then work up a load that the 570 gr bullet regulates at?
