Yes it does have Metford rifleing which appears as a rounded or oval with maybe a gain twist? I will need to slug the bore to know but that is what it looks like.
The reblue looks pretty good but the minor engraving on the box itself is rubbed nearly off and is very shiny. I will look for more details when I get it in my hands again.
It has an inexpensive pad on it but I have a Silvers that will fit to replace it. None of the engraving was re-cut and in fact If it is not a high value gun I may have it polished and engraved by a local metalsmith friend of mine.
I will be checking with the owner this weekend to see if he has a price he needs to get.
