Well I recon I found out for myself. Here is the information from the Krieghoff website:

410 grain bullet

4940 fpe

from a 65 cm (25.5") barrel

On the other hand, Kynoch lists the .450/.400 3" at:

400 grain bullet
2125 fps
4010 fpe

from a 30" barrel.

So the .500/.416 does have a good bit more ass than the .400 Jeffery. Probably does recoil more.
