Oh boy! Here we go again. The purists say never go for rimless extraction, particularly if hunting dangerous game. There is at least one prior discussion of this topic. Usually the discussion is coupled with the issue of high-pressure cartridges (another no-no!). Here's one prior thread in which both issues are discussed: .375 H&H in a double rifle. Heretics like me have gotten along quite well with rimless extraction, much to the consternation of others.
