Mickey, Thanks. We don't have much info on the gun so it is hard to make a judgement but if the rest of the gun is in good nick and bores good, it may well be worth it. Add a case and a few accessories and you have a good outfit you could keep for 10 - 20 years. If buying it to try and make a profit, then I would say no and have turned down similar guns in the past. BANZAIBIRD - Make sure the pitting and therefore the dampness that occured di NOT extend to the RIBS or Chopper Lump area of the barrels. IF it got into the RIBS, you will have problems. CHECK the soundness of the RIBS to see that they ring true. I am NOT trying to put you off the gun, just giving you things to check that I would, especially with what you have told us so far.
