Handled afew 9.3sxs' at Reno. 7.25-7.5lb bare seemed about right for me(add 1lb for 2.5-8x leu& mounts)
I also handled a sidelock H&H .300h&h that weighed a tonne without scope, I felt very little pleasure in that rig. Put it down afew seconds after picking it up, did not appeal at all.Dont know why they made it so heavy.
