Certainly no need to apologize. I have a 400 3 1`/4 with a 1.75x6 Leupold and a 9.3x74R with a 1.5x6 Zeiss. I like both of them with the scope because of my eyesight.

I can still see well enough to hit an Elephant or a Buffalo with open sites though. I would not use as scope on DG if I had a choice and would always have a low power scope turned down low when in an area where DG was possible.
