I obviously have zero experience with scoped doubles.
I would still worry about picking up a charging animal in the magnified scope of ANY scoped rifle.

What ranges do they zero them at? Are both barrels regulated to that distance? What type of accuracy do they hold?

Sounds fascinating-- I may have to buy one!!

I am playing with the idea of attaching a Weaver base and Bushnell holosight to a cheap Bakail Double Shotgun and shooting slugs. If my eyes get worse I may have to try using it on my Merkel double!! Got to keep hunting you know!!
I presently use the red dot on a Remington semiauto carbine and I assure you it makes a formidible short range low light deer rifle.
