That's a fine point of view to take, until your eye-sight starts to fail. I still shoot with open sights on all my hunting rifles, but many of my mates have been forced to use scopes as their sight deteriorates. They're only a couple of years older than me, so I know the day will come.

One of my close friends even bought a brand new Kreighoff so as not to bugger-up his nice British doubles.
