However I think it's pretty important to be familiar with all the working of your DR. That way if something went wrong in the field you may be able to not only diagnose the problem but possible fix it as well. You don't really think all those fine cased DR's with Screwdrivers included were put there for nothing do you? I'm pretty sure they expected the rifle owner to at least be able to do some basic stuff on their own if needed. Besides how do you clean and oil the internals if you don't ever take anything apart?" |
