A couple years ago Searcy was using 108 Gr of IMR 4831 with a 500 grain bullet at 2250 FPS. He now regulates at 106 Gr 4831 at 2150 FPS. The Federal load is usually about 2050-2100 FPS. RL-15 is popular with some.
