Yesterday I ordered a new Merkel 140A std in .470

Delivery to the summer some time... My first one, so looking forward to spend the summer holiday shooting

What load should I get it regulated for? I'm planning to mount a scope later on, and will handload myself. Which factory loads are the "weakest/hottest"? I've heard that Federal is rather hot, is this right? I'd prefer a lighter load, so I get the possibility to add more powder if necessary.... I've thougt og Kynoch, but what about Norma? Pressurewise..

Anyone who has experience with the Merkel they want to share, or has cronographed a few of the factory ammo?

I'm thinking of using cast lead bullets for training, any tips concerning this?

I've heard the Norma Factoryload is loaded with Woodleighs, 110grs of MRP? Correct?
