Like the others have said, 8 to 8 1/2 pounds all up with scope and mounts is fine.
My 400-350, which can do anything a 9.3/74 can do
, is close to 8 1/2 with 2 1/2 power Leup in steel rings.Easy to carry and easy to shoot!
