So long as someone else was going to carry the head, cape and meat out for me, I'd maybe carry a double of up to 9 pounds weight in the mountains.

If I was mountain hunting by myself and had to do all my own carrying out, I would much prefer that the weight was no more than about 7 1/2 pounds including the scope.
