No problems with my shooting I am aware of. Just have never tried the spine shot as everyone has advised it as very tricky to hit. At close range on a cape it may be easier. I have had elk jump back up from a frontal shot after being stunned and requiring another off hand chest shot to drop him.But this was at 125 yds. I was fortunate to hit him hard and finish it. Bizarre question--What is the relative size % of the spine shot vs the chest shot? 50% smaller? If I neck shoot a cape but worry about just stunning him temporarily I assume I should charge the animal with the one shot left and brain shoot him. A role reversal to speak of.That would be interesting!Otherwise if he gets up just stunned he is going to be REALLY pissed!! |
