I have his book. I've built six on monoblocks so far. I want to try chopper lumps for the action that is nearing completion. I'm pretty sure in there it merely mentions chopper lumps and doesn't tell you how to make them.

I was just trying to make sure we were talking about the same thing. As that seemed awful steep to me for barrel blanks. Aren't their "finished" barrels in that same price range? As I said I was just trying to make sure we were talking about the same thing.
