Gentlemen,
greetings to all!
I am new to double rifles,only held one ever in my hands,been reading the forums,cannot deny myself any longer!
I would one day like to end up with the truly big bores,but common sense dictates a medium caliber to start with!
Any hunting that I will undertake will be any game here in the U.S.A & plains game in Africa,with this rifle.
I think I have narrowed my choice of caliber to 9.3x74 & have been quoted so far for a Chapuis UGEX & a Merkel 141!
any suggestions or thoughts will be greatly appreciated!
By the way I re-load my own ammunition.
