Thanks for your comments and the support and information many of you provided as I was trying to resolve what I should do.

I haven't down loaded many pictures off my digital camera but I will take some and give it a try.

An interesting bit of information, when Paul Roberts first saw the rifle at auction in London it was wrapped in 1942 newspapers. Therefore probably had not been shot for 60+ years.
