I loved the video. Its one I'm likely to watch over and over. Honestly, I'm more likely to be able to hunt wild boar than cape buffalo at least on a regular basis. Ive hunted them with a handgun and backed up a friend when he hunted them with a bow. The arrow failed to stop his, and the boar charged me. That's a memory I'll take to my grave. I was using a Thompson Contender pistol in .44 mag. It had required follow up hits to stop my boar; but at 10 feet it worked like the "Hand of God". I can still see that boar sliding towards me. Next time we're planing something more traditional. I havent decided yet, either a my double 762x51R, or a Drilling Ive been trying to talk my friend out of, 16x16 over 9.3x74. Until then I content to dream of Africa. |
