Certainly this is most likely a BP rifle, but the hammerless sidelock configuration with fluid-steel barrels does hint at the possibility of a 'nitro-for-black' chambering, or even the rare full-nitro load. That, and the asking price!! A check of the proof-marks would be highly recommended in this case.
