I only had time for 10 shots and I wanted to test the new chrono, get basic idea of regulation and jury rig up a bench at the new shooting site. I will tomorrow conduct a controlled experiment to determine as much functional data as I can in the allotted time. I’m sure it will take many shooting sessions to get the gun sorted out, which is half and/or most of the fun of owning a BP and DR.

As you might know, different BP powders, patch thickness, lube, primer and metal density all play a part in accuracy. So the first thing is to find out the BP part, then the regulation part. Remember this is like having two BP guns, and BP guns each have a personality.

As well since you’re my brother….Yeah, yeah, yeah …..I know
